yes

I'm here and working as usual.  The last 24 hours have included some extra nice moments and I'm thankful for them.  I'm also thankful for safe trips in the car, for Jason having a birthday today and for life in general.

There is so much I'm not willing to say here just now but life is very good and super interesting right now with challenges and rewards too.

Orders keep coming in and I'm so glad for that.

Tonight is cooling off well so sleep should be very good, was awake some last night, got hold of some Root Beer that evidently had caffeine in it, I was wide awake for hours last night, that part is not too fun.

Love to all

Good evening

So life stays busy, and wonderful grandchildren certainly keep things interesting and amazing.
Tomorrow evening I head to San Jose, meet my family there and we have dinner and then see the Lion King, a live play in downtown San Jose.  It will be magic and we are sitting in the orchestra seating.  This was Jason and Jo's idea and I think it is incredible.  A nice break from the routine of seeing properties, meeting wonderful people and then doing the paperwork that is required.

Tonight Jessy came to assist with getting the office manager system up top date so I can get ready for the tax man.  yes it is important to know what I actually took in last year in income and without her help I would not know.  She is an amazing woman and is very bright, just sits down and makes things happen.

Steve has been helping write up appraisals lately and he is so excellent, young people today are amazing in what they can do and how fast they do it.  This Saturday afternoon will be Keanna's final performance of School House Rock, a really good play that she has done 9 performances in.  Hundreds of people from the community have enjoyed these plays and Keanna is learning valuable lessons about performing day after day.  Kallie justs get in the car and the seat belt on and she is singing her little songs, what a joy to just feel their energy and their intelligence.  Amazing really.

So I'm happy, tired and ready for rest tonight but so very thankful to God for His ongoing help and leading.  Ellen is getting ready to make another attempt at getting a visitor visa, not easy to come by in Ghana where many people want to visit the US but many of those visiting want to slip unnoticed into the underworld and disappear.  So they are very careful in giving out these visas.  We just pray that God will guide.

Love to all

Good day

Busy day, usually I work in on Sundays but today I drove to Gilroy to see a new home under construction, the back to Hayward to see one that has sold and then finally to Dublin to see yet another one.  finally I'm home and ready to rest.

since I fell I've been battling getting my arm to heal up and stop bleeding, I'm busy and active and the arm is gradually healing up, I'm keeping it open now without a bandage so it can breath.  I only had a couple times today when I brushed it against something and I found it weeping again.

The chest and rib cage is a different matter, I wonder how long it will take for every sneeze or cough to cause less pain.  Today I had to lug my ladder around and that was not fun to lift and feel my chest at the same time, Bummer.  Oh well God is good and gives me enough strength to do the work I need to accomplish.

Now its bed time.

My friend Ellen and I have arrived at a crossroads in our relationship and I'm making plans to fly there to meet her and just determine if we are on the same track or not.  I wish I had God's insights into everything but I know He opens doors and closes them and we both seek His will repeatedly every day.  This morning she was in church and prayed for guidance, we talked a couple times today and are trying to work our future out, right now its unclear but in a few days it will become much more clear I believe.

Please pray that God will guide us.

In love

Nice surprise.

Busy day, 1st one in San Lorenzo at 9 but traffic was light, then back to San Ramon at 11, cute 5 month old baby girl, smiles and laughs, then to lunch at Taco bell and then back to the office to do emails and fix things, then to Tracy for a ranchette, great people, daughter was delivered by Dr. Ahn, small world.  Then Olive Garden for soup and salad and now home.

So much to be thankful for.

Tomorrow is worship in Tracy, can't wait.

My body is gradually getting better, left all bandages off the arm today and the skin is doing well at recovery, rib cage still hurts when I move or laugh or cough but better. Tomorrow morning I walk the 3 miles again, its time.

Sending love to all, what a great family I have, every one a character, no followers, all leaders and they are great kids, so very proud of the parents and the kiddos.

love to all

challenging day

Good evening family and friends,
I've had an interesting several days as I deal with the pain of bruised ribs and an abrasion on my arm that is healing slowly but continues to leak a little as it heals.  Such a large area of skin was peeled off that it is taking some time to rebuild and with my thin blood due to blood thinners that does not help either.  I've been able to continue to work as usual.

Today my friend in another country went to the embassy to have an interview for the visa we need so she can come visit here.  From all the stories you hear and read about there being millions of illegals in this country you would never know it for the ordeal they put her through,  they were pretty much persuaded that she never intends to return to Ghana so they insisted that she have a large amount of money in a Ghana bank in a savings account, that she have several medical tests and they even looked at communication between she and me in her phone as they wanted to make sure she had someone to look after her while she was visiting here.  They questioned everything repeatedly and finally she was told that she could have a visa once she has taken care of everything.  So we are sort of praying and just thinking tonight.  She is not a rich woman so finding a lot more money for her savings account will be a challenge, her mom is recovering in her little business from the flood so has no extra money, so now we just wait on God to see how He leads us.  your prayers that His will be done would be appreciated.  I'm glad that immigration is careful in who they give visitor visas but when it is someone you care about then it hits close to home.

I've been able to work today generating completed appraisal and I've enjoyed the cool weather, what a huge blessing it is.

Sending love to all, God is good and He is good all the time, oh that we could learn to love like He does.
