Good day

Good evening,
This has been a good day and very interesting.  I've produced many appraisals and they are with the lenders now.  While it was very warm outside my office stays cool and comfortable while I work.  Mid day today I had some sort of migraine headache that made what I saw in front of my eyes distorted.  I had to reduce the light and actually close my eyes for awhile until I could work again.  Not fun at all.

I am thankful that orders are still coming in and with the orders some checks as well.  God has been very good to me over the years and continues to be good to me now.  My friend and I both feel that He has led us to each other and we hope that soon we will actually be together for real.  Could be tomorrow and I'm praying very hard that we can join hands.

The weather has been very hot today so I was not sorry that I was not measuring homes in the sun.  For lunch today I used one of the new whole wheat tortillas and melted cheese on it, cut up tomatoes, cucumbers and had a feast.  It was so good and stayed with me pretty well for the whole afternoon.  For breakfast this morning it was oatmeal, double fiber toast with avocado.

My eating habits are so different now, this evening I went to Burger King and had just the vege patty and lettuce and a side salad along with a senior drink.  Great stuff and the weight keeps falling.

Well I'm going to try to get a bit more work done tonight and then head to bed.  With my friend in London I tend to get up very early to spend time with her and sometimes that means 4 or 5 am.  Funny thing is when you care for someone putting your normal routines on hold doesn't seem to matter at all.  You just think about what helps the other person.  I think they call it love.

Well I'll send some love your way tonight,

Tim

Excellent day

In spite of some personal concerns this has been a very good day.

Highlights include: helping the family take down tents and pack up after spending a night in our park with 2000 other people.  Great fun was had by the whole family including Nikki who slipped away and slept in her own bed but came back today to help pack up.

I came back home to work hard at appraisal writing and tonight I'm happy to report that I've written 5 today.  That is serious progress and tomorrow I'll do some more writing.

On the personal level I've had some very nice time with someone I care about a lot today.  Not every thing is perfect but I think she is!!

heading to bed now, so sleepy and ready to rest until I hear from her in the morning around 6:30.

Love to all

Outstanding Sabbath

Hi
Quick reprieve of the day. up and walking at 6:30, worship service in Antioch at 11:15, enjoyed my time there very much, good sermon, good music, beautiful church, easy to slip and out without anyone even speaking to me, that part not so good.

Spent afternoon with my family in the park at the great American campout.  About 1800 hundred people are camped in the park tonight including Steve and the girls, their neighbors and many other friends.  It was a very well planned event, Radio Disney was there with an excellent program, dinner and breakfast was provided, a rock climbing wall was brought in, they held an ice cream eating contest and a pizza eating contest,  hundreds of tents in place tonight.  I came home and enjoyed time with Ray and Lois on their back deck, then went back to the park for the evening, just home now.

Spent time with my friend but learned she could not travel until tomorrow, a huge disappointment but God is in charge and I have to let Him be God.

This afternoon when she was going to bed her phone froze so we have very little time on yahoo messenger to be in contact but she came back at 12:30 her time and we talked a little but she was just too sleepy.

We think tomorrow is our day, God willing.

Sending love to all,

Tim

Friday evening and all is well here

Dear Family and Friends,

What a week and I can only share a tiny part of what is playing out but God is the hero of this week having helped over and over in amazing ways.  I believe I've never seen such a week.

Work is really great.  I've been getting orders at a clip that keeps me pretty busy and I'm so thankful to God for His help.

For years I've needed some new office equipment.  So I purchased a Brother color laser printer that sends faxes, scans, copies and prints in excellent color.  I've enjoyed it great performance all week.  My scanner was very old and hardly worked, my fax had given up, my copier no long document fed and the color printer I had was about 12 years old and was very expensive to keep in toner and drum.  Thank you Lord for helping with this purchase.

The Sabbath is here and with it peace and quiet.  God is good and like Pastor Jessica always said, God is good all the time.  Oh how He loves you and me.

Love to all,

Tim

Traffic slows the day

Its been quite a day.  I had some conversations early this morning, I mean very early and then did the walk during which I talked to my special friend the entire way around the lake.  Then it was a quick shower and off to see a home in Oakland.

But there was a problem, some poor truck driver laid his truck and trailer across three lanes of 580 near Pleasanton and stopped traffic all the way to Tracy, it took me 2 hours to move from Livermore to Oakland near the Harbor.  Fortunately there were still people there at the little house so I could do my work.

Then it was back home to find a check in the mail!! which I took to the bank and that was a nice moment.  Later today I went to Mountain House and did a very nice home for a great family and then to Olive Garden for eggplant parm and salad.  Now I'm home cleaning up the house a bit, doing the dishes, setting up new orders, thank you Lord, and now I'm heading to bed.  Sleep is in high demand these days and I never get enough of it.

I'm asking God to continue to bless us especially tomorrow and I would appreciate your asking for His guidance and powerful help as well.

I appreciate each of you and want you to know how much you have meant to me over the years.  In a short time things will be changing for me and the future of a daily blog is up for question, we will decide what to do but for now it will continue every day I can remember to write it or hold my eyes open long enough to write it.

Remember, God is good all the time,

Teach me to love like you love oh God and my world will be a better place.

Love to all

Great day

Did I mention that God is so good to us...

Today He delivered my two precious little girls that live here in Discovery Bay.  They came about 10 and after their swimming experiences we settled in for me to work and they to play.  They get along remarkably well except for the times they are attempting to kill each other.  They are growing up and can handle more and more of the needed touches of life, like Keanna making her own pasta tonight and doing it perfectly, Kallie can sure raid the Popsicles in the freezer.  Today we bought a 20 piece McNugget box from McDs and tonight there are only about 3 pieces left.

Meanwhile I have been cranking on getting work out, not really blazing I have still got some out.  I was very disappointed to get no money in the mail today, I really needed some but it was not to be.  We had a balmy day of about 90 degrees and if we get the house closed up in the morning then it holds very well so the big AC hardly runs at all.

On the personal level I enjoyed a couple hours of really enjoyable relationship time with my friend and hope to see her up close and personal soon.  I'm leaving a lot in God's hands because He knows it all and we all can trust Him to lead.

I'm so thankful to God for His help and guidance and I continue to ask that you join me in prayer that God will make the right things happen according to His greater knowledge and His supreme love for us.

Sending love to all tonight,

Tim

Evening

The best thing to be said about this day is that it is about over.

Lots of work, lots of disappointments and a night without sleep.  I'm guessing that the iced coffee I got at Starbucks last evening was real instead of decaf.  The worker was really buried being the only one there at the time and I think I got the real stuff because I was wide awake from 10:30 to 2 am, then slept off and on, bummer of a night for sure.  I did have lots of time to pray and I do enjoy talking to God about everything, my friend has taught me to turn things over to God again and again and I appreciate that from her.

Speaking of her we had very nice conversations several times today and that always helps to make the day bright.

For now I'm giving up and going to sleep, so ready to feel the world drop away.

Sending love to all,

Tim

God is so good to us

I wish I knew how to love like our Heavenly Father does, His love is so pure and selfless and we experience it all the time.

Lately I've been under a certain degree of stress and I've learned a lot about talking to God more often and more openly.  I cannot tell you how many times I've felt God answer my prayers often in very direct ways, ways that sort of shock and excite you when you see God caring enough to be involved in little details of our lives.

I'm continuing to ask God to lead in my personal life and I feel very strongly that He is doing so and while I do not chose to go into the details let it be know that God is never far from either of us as we work through our relationship.

I want to thank God for His loving care and help day by day and I know He is involved in each of our lives depending on how much we allow Him to control our affairs.  So I sleep well knowing God is on duty, that he cares for each of us and that He knows best, that He is the best lover ever and that His love includes those little things that we only know in our hearts, He knows our dreams and our hopes and I believe He cares for what is on our mind.

Today has been an incredible day of cranking out important work.  I am so thankful to have work to do and it keeps me sharp and in business as the days pass.  I've just written a relocation report for a home located in Bob Sorensen's neighborhood in Lodi and I've very glad to be completed with it now.  They take a long time but they pay very well too and they pay very quickly as well.

Sending love to all

A great Sabbath

This morning started with a 3.2 mile walk in the brisk morning.  As I walked I got to speak to my close friend and that continued as I had breakfast on the back deck with the geese and ducks swimming by on the lake. We had a delightful morning talking about very practical things like going to church, eating healthy things, our swimming prowess, neither of us swim well it seems.

Later I drove to the Tracy church and heard Allison speak.  What a great sermon and a very good presentation too.  Unfortunately I was a bit sleepy.  For lunch I met Nikki and the girls at the Pittsburg Olive Garden and that was the high point of the day. Just as I was through with lunch my friend came back on the line and we chatted until it was 11:45 for her and past her bedtime.  How I enjoy time spent with such a good friend.

This afternoon I've laid low and rested some, then this evening I moved my postage stamp sized lawn and this evening did a bit of grocery shopping.  Now its bedtime and I'm asking that you join me in prayer that God will guide in our affairs tomorrow so that the right things will happen according to Gods design.  We only want His will to take place.

Now I'm telling all good night, love to you each.

A very big day

There is a lot about today that I can't talk about but trust me when I say I saw God's hand all day today helping in the "works of men".  If I ever have mistrusted God before today should certainly strengthen my faith.

I rose at 5 this morning and had a conversation with my friend from 6 onward as I walked my 3 miles and showered.  Then it was a quick breakfast and I settled down to work.  I wrote two full appraisals this morning and then did research for 4 properties which I proceeded to see this afternoon.  I waited for the mail to come hoping, pacing and praying for a check.  God saw fit to answer that prayer with enough to cover incoming automatic bills, it was a minor miracle and I am very thank you.

This afternoon my first home was a beautiful one located in the Rockridge section of Oakland.  This was one of the homes destroyed by the Oakland Hills fire 21 years ago.  It is very beautiful and the husband and wife died within a few months of each other.  Now the Reverse Mortgage lender is needing it appraised, the man that showed me through was a mortgage broker and a total gentleman.  From there I drove to a little home in Berkeley where the owner passed away recently.  I was doing an appraisal as of the day she died to determine value for the daughter's taxes.  They paid me on the spot with a credit card which I took with my square reader, how nice to collect funds directly on the spot.

Then it was on to a little home in Oakland closer to downtown.  This cute little house had everything redone, very nice and the comps were supportive and nearby.

Then it was to Hayward to see a townhome and that one was very nice too.  Now I'm home, tired and ready to sleep.

God is good.

Love to all

A very long day but good

Dear Family and Friends
Heading for bed about now, up at 5:30, walking at 6, working at 7:45 and quitting at 10 pm.  But I've written a lot of stuff today and made appointments for many more properties.  All in all its been a good day.

Plus I've enjoyed some personal time with my friend, I always enjoy time with her.

Hopefully we can meet one of these days, that would be such a huge blessing and I ask that you ask God for His help in that regard.  I know He can do most anything and its a simple request, please remove the hurdles so we can meet and see if we have a future or not.  Tomorrow is an important day I believe for us.

Our weather was great today, not too warm and just the right breezes blowing through.

Tomorrow I venture into Berkeley and then see two properties in Oakland before heading home again.  But I'll not leave until the mail has arrived hoping that some money will arrive, its needed for sure.

Sending love to all tonight,

Tim

Long day - good outcome

Dear Family and Friends,

Another challenging day, fun part was having the girls, I just feel bad as I have to work and it would be fun to do something interesting with them, park, swimming or paddle boat or something.

Had an interesting day with my friend and it ended very well, God continues to guide us both and hopefully soon He will guide us together.

This evening after the girls left with Nikki I raced to Richmond and did a full appraisal there, then back to Antioch to fit in a rush as well.  Felt good to get out and work the field again.

Sending love to all,

Heard from Jessy tonight, sounds like she is doing well, certainly miss her excellent help here in the office.

Another day several dollars...

All in all a very good day.  I was able to help my kids today, Kallie and Keanna were here most of the day and since I had plenty of write-ups to do I was able to watch them during the day.  Steve is doing non appraisal work right now with a friend, he hustles to keep bucks flowing.

I have spend quite a bit of time with my friend today and enjoyed that time very much.  Of course I'm hoping that she can join me soon but that is an unknown at this point in time.

I've written up several reports today and now as the girls are older and more mature they can manage themselves without my constant watchful eye, though Kallie did go through quite a few Oreo's today when I was not watching.  She likes her sweets.

Nikki met us for lunch today in town and that was fun.  Of course they managed to bring me a BEEF burrito instead of my bean one, that was not fun at all.  But other than that the food was very good.

I'm hoping to write one more up tonight before I give up for the night.  I'm so thankful to God, my friend always reminds me to thank God when orders come in, one of the many things I enjoy about her, her connection to God.  I am thankful for work and I feel so good most of the time now with the 48 pound weight loss that I can easily keep up with the orders and enjoy the field work a lot.

God is so good to us in spite of the challenges life brings.

Due to the response to my question last night about switching to Facebook to write the blog I'm staying right here.  Not everyone is that crazy about Facebook and I understand so little about it I can hardly function when I open it up.  I'll write the blog from this comfortable place where I've written thousands of editions over the past 7 years.  Thank you faithful reader for your daily reading.  Should my marital status change at some point in the future I might consider going to a weekly edition.  We will see when and if that happens.

Sending love to all

We are moving forward

Good evening,

This will be a quickie as I'm heading to bed.  We are being blasted by wind this evening but its nice and cool so enjoyable too.

This has been a long day and it is turning out better than I had hoped.  I've worked on several appraisals, not as much as last Sunday which saw many reports written but still not bad.

I believe my fortunes might be turning better at the present time.  It was so fun to watch the little kiddos enjoy their dancing yesterday.  They were really great and sure it was a very long day and we sort of got numb seeing hundreds of other people's kids on stage but eventually we got to see our own and what a difference that makes.  Wow

I wonder how many of you do facebook, I'm sort of thinking about switching to facebook with the blog, what do you think?  My email address is timmustard@yahoo.com if you have any comments or suggestions.

Sending love to all, I'll have the girls on Monday and Tuesday which is fine since I have a pile of work to get completed.  Nice to be able to help out.

And they danced...........

Good evening
Well its been another eventful day, part of which I can share with you and part is so personal that it remains with me.

I walked this morning, had breakfast, found I was down to an even 180 and had a ratio of just 25, my best yet.  That's down from 226.5 and a ratio of 41 at the worst.  God has been very good to me and you have been good in your encouragement and prayers.

I first picked up Steve and we arrived just in time for Kallies dance recital at 10 am.  At 11:30 it was over and we had lunch at UNOs.  Then it was kill some time until the 3 pm Keanna recital.  That one lasted until 5:45 nearly 3 hours and we saw a lot of children dancing their hearts out on the stage.  Keanna was in the last number and she is so comfortable being on stage now, she did great and loved it very much.  Not even nervous any more!

Then we went our own ways and I came home to spend an evening wrestling with some personal issues that are disturbing to say the least.  Its so tempting to take these things that are much bigger than I'm capable of handling out of God's hands and start worrying over them.  So right now I'm placing everything in God's hands and asking for His divine direction and help.  So with that prayer I'm going to sleep now and trusting the God will help make tomorrow a better day for Ellen and myself.

Asking for your prayers too that God's will can be done and He be glorified.

Love

tim
ps thanks for my loyal family who are always there for me no matter what

PS thanks for checks in the mail today, Thank you God for your help for the work I need to accomplish tomorrow.

Friday evening and all is not well

Good evening
I'm finally home after a huge day of appraising.  Yesterday as orders came in I found myself adding them to the schedule for today.  I ended up with an Antioch purchase inspection, then a re inspection to make sure that the agents had added a CO detector, then on to Oakland to see a dump of a house, then up the hill to see a very nice townhome with a panoramic view, then a long drive in heavy traffic to Lodi to see a home for a relo company, then to Manteca to see a home where a very nice single lady was the owner, we had a great discussion of life and relationships.  A sad moment came when she told me her 5 year old daughter died of cancer.  She had a picture and this precious little girl in the prime of kiddo hood dies.  I enjoyed our time very much and then headed back to Discovery Bay, picked up neighbor Lois and we had a sandwich at Subway here in Discovery Bay.

Now I'm back home and for the first time in a few weeks took a look at my tomatoes.  Wow I have a couple very large tomatoes that are turning color, that will be very nice.

I really don't know how to read my relationship with my special friend.  I had hoped she would be flying here today but when I woke this morning the news was not good.  She was in police detention due to her traveling companion not meeting some requirement of the British government.  When I spent time with her this afternoon, about an hour or so she was settling in for the night at the police station in a little room.  We all hope that they are released in the morning, the guys boss is working on getting it done with her lawyers but so far they are not on a plane.  So another day passes without her being allowed to fly to join me and its hard to take once a person gets expectations set for an arrival.  Who knows the outcome or if she will end up coming at all.  She says repeatedly she will come and voices her hopes for a nice future together.  It is my prayer that this all will take place.  God is really the only one on this side that knows what is really taking place.  So once again I appreciate your prayers for Ellen and myself and her safe passage here.

Tomorrow morning Kallie has her dance recital in the morning and Keanna has hers in the afternoon.  They both love to perform so this should be fun.  I had expected Ellen to be here and she was very excited about coming but it did not work out.

In a few minutes I'll go to bed.  Due to talking with people in a different time zone, 7 hours apart, I'm often up in the middle of the night and its taking its toll on my rest.

Today I drove about 200 miles while seeing the 5 properties.  That is the biggest work day in months as I often only have 5 properties to see in a full month.  I'm very thankful to our loving Heavenly Father for the work.

Sending love to all, please pray that God will guide.

Tim

Thursday, June 12, 2014

We need your prayers please.

If you are a praying person I am asking you to ask God for guidance and help for me and my friend Ellen.  We have encountered significant obstacles to her getting here, at the moment she is stuck in London for the 3rd day and by morning she should be allowed to board a plane for SF.  Please ask God to guide us through all the issues surrounding her migration to the US.  I am aware of all the questions that exist about this kind of union and am attempting to deal with them internally.  I am an emotional person so find this process very difficult to handle.

I know God knows all and can help with anything and I ask for His help many times a day right now, even more than usual.

I've been able to dive into appraisal work and have accomplished quite a bit today, I am very thankful for the work that is coming in and I'm trying to get it seen in spite of how I feel inside.  I have continued to do my walking and am being very careful with what I eat, drinking even more water than usual but the lack of sleep and the stress is taking its toll on me.  I've not been this happy and relaxed in a relationship for years and at the same time the lack of being able to spend time together has made some parts of the relationship difficult to fully understand.

Thank you for your prayers and good thoughts.  If she can make it onto the plane tomorrow and arrive in the city then we have accomplished a great deal.  If she continues to be delayed there will be a point where we have to just give up, it is not meant to be.

I know it is much easier to just not care deeply about someone but when you end up caring a lot, up to 5 hours of togetherness a day, then to think of giving up is very hard to accept.

So God is our friend, He believes in love and relationships and He has blessed us dozens of times with answers to questions we have had.  Its an amazing list of times when we both feel He has helped us directly so neither of us is willing to give up now.

Thank you for your prayers,

Love to all

Solid day

Not all days follow the same trajectory and this one certainly has not.  I was awake much of the night dealing with phone calls and issues but by mid day things settled down.  I had two appraisals to do, one in Tracy this morning and one in Antioch at noon.  Both were decent properties and I enjoyed both.

Then it was back to the office but when I discovered a check in the mail I took it down for deposit, better in the bank than on my desk.

No matter what takes place I've been sticking to my routine of waking and walking about 6, my three miles and no matter what takes place I've been living on salads and good foods so the weight has not taken off, in fact it is down.  My stress level has been high for the last two weeks as personal challenges have had be ironed out but I think that is finally turning a final corner in the morning when my friend leaves London for San Francisco and my waiting arms.

This evening as I work I have the classical station playing through my Bose speakers and my computer, its great music and I feel like I know the announcers personally I 've heard them for so long.  I know much of the music they play now by heart and can recognize it when it comes on.

Well now its time to go back to work.  Please pray for my friends safety tomorrow as she flies for 11 hours across the pond.  We want to be in God's hands always.

Sending love to all,

Tim

Another day

I fully expected to be past the living alone stage of my life but my friend is stuck in a little London Hotel room tonight, one missing document kept her from her final destination but it is to be supplied at about 1 am our time in the morning so I am in hopes she can complete her journey tomorrow.  Please join me in praying that God will help her make her destination in SF.

I made the best of the day seeing a property in Brentwood that was a perfect as a property could be, then on to Oakland to see a property that was a bad as a property could be and still be liveable.  Oh my it was rough and on a very busy street in a high crime area.  Then it was back to the office to deal with issues, set up 4 new orders (yes) and write reports.

This afternoon I was able to help my friend find a room and we had a chance to talk quite a bit.  She is discouraged but still has faith that God is guiding in our lives.  That faith is very important to us both.

Sending love to all,

Tim

God is so good

You know its much easier to say God is good when things are going your way.  Tonight I believe things are going my way.

My friend is in the air flying first to London and then SF tomorrow afternoon.  I am thrilled that she is taking the huge step of faith to come to meet me.  We've been talking for several months several hours a day and I enjoy her company a lot.

Please pray that she will be safe as she travels around 1/2 the world to join me in life.

We feel God has been leading all along and are so thankful to finally get to meet in person.

When I got home today I had a nasty IRS letter.  So I spent the next hour waiting on the phone through three different divisions until I ended up with a great guy who found someone had made a mistake, he fixed it and now I'm good.  Thank you Lord.

Sending love to all,

Tim

The end of a very successful day

Thank the good Lord for this day.
While I had a crushing disappointment today God still blessed with my being able to write 5 reports and deliver them either to individuals or email them to clients.  It has been a great day work wise.

I got started early, my friend and I were talking at 6 am this morning and several more times during the day, that part of the day was just incredible.  What a joy it is to share special times and talk about the future.

I walked while it was still cool this morning, then I had a Starbucks decaf and a multi grain bagel, so good.  Once I got home I just went to work.  It seemed the reports just came together really nicely all day.  During the day I had a chance to talk with friends and family and that helps a lot.  I'm just not a loner, I prefer to chat with other human being.  I have the world's best friends.

At some point in the day the cat decided to raid a birds nest and the next thing I knew a little birdie was in the hall desperate.  I called Lois and tonight she is carry for the little guy.

So now its bedtime and I'm thankful to go.

Love to all

Sabbath evening

Dear Family and Friends,
Well its finally time to head to bed.  This has been a very interesting day.  Highlights included an excellent sermon by Bruce Gray, getting to see my Tracy SDA friends, having an excellent cookie by Angel Bowman, watching Michael Ahns little girl show she is 2 and proud of it as she gave her grandmother and her dad an interesting time today.  Cute little kiddo.

I've enjoyed the nice weather, had a little neighbor girl come and offer to walk the dog, visited with Steve and Nikki, saw Kallie who was in a swim meet today with her sister and they did great.

I've had a chance to spend time with my special friend today especially early this morning using Yahoo messenger and that is always enjoyable.

I've made a griller for late lunch, had Oatmeal for breakfast along with a slice of double fiber toast and a banana, taken my pills and picked up some groceries.

I want to appeal this evening for special prayer, my friend and I need God's guidance right now and His blessings.  Can I ask you to pray especially hard over the next 12 hours that God will guide in our decisions as they will have long term effects for both of us.  I have been praying to my Heavenly Father with an intensity that I've rarely felt as I want to be in His will, I want both of us to be in His will.  Thank you for praying and helping.  I've appreciated getting to talk to Jerry,  Art, Pam, Jason, Nikki and Steve, neighbor Lois and Dolly today as well as to friends at church who I love very much.

Life is very interesting lately and for the most part very rewarding, I am very grateful to God for His blessings.

Sending Love to all

A wonderful day

This has been a very good day.

Up early spending time with my friend who lives in another land 7 hours ahead of our time zone.  So we were talking at 5 am this morning.

Then I walked and left for Richmond.  I inspected one of the most average looking homes I've ever seen.  Nothing remarkable about the whole place.  Then it was to Rio Vista and a custom built home that was great but only a 2 bedroom, a red flag for sure.  Then home to find money in the mailbox.  That certainly helped the day.

Been working mostly in all afternoon and chatting with my friend and this evening had a sandwich at Subway with Lois.  Got news that Dana, Nan's sister may come visit next week.  That would be great.

So thankful to God for His divine guidance, so very thankful indeed.

Love to all

Moving on day by day

Good evening,
So glad to make it through another day.  Its now evening and this has been a long one. My friend and I talked most of the way as I walked the 3 mile lake walk but then she had to go.  She secured her ticket to fly here but its not until Sunday, that was a disappointment to me as I had hoped for tonight.  Oh well God knows best.

Today was a pretty good day.  I managed some appraisal work, set up new orders and enjoyed my business.

At 1;15 the kiddos came for the afternoon and of course that is always enjoyable. We went to Safeway and this time our trip was uneventful and enjoyable.  Keanna helped bag the groceries and they did very well.

This evening I went to Walnut Creek and inspected a nice townhome, then on the way home I found an Applebees and had a baked potato and side salad.  Great food.

Well tonight I'm wishing all of you a happy evening.

Lot to all

A great day

Good evening family and friends,

so goes another good day.  I was able to obtain several new orders today for which I praise God.  I was able to write up reports and ship them out, I was able to do research and actually see a property in Tracy this evening.  It was one of those situations where I just took extra time, the owner lost her husband 6 years ago and needed to share her story one more time.  As I listened actively I could sure relate.  What, it took an extra 20 minutes, time I think is well worth it and she knows someone understands tonight.

On the way home I detoured to Olive Garden for soup and salad, do you know if you avoid an expensive drink, water is free that the whole meal only comes to about $12 and what a great meal it is.  Just eat at a table at the bar so no waiting, great service, both the As and Giants were playing.  What is not to like!

On a personal level my friend is doing well with her struggle to leave her home country and come for a visit.  We never know exactly what is next by way of challenges but we think the way is now clear.  We ask that you invite God to lead in our lives, there is no safer place than in God's will.

I enjoy speaking to my friends and I know Art and Connie would always appreciate your prayers for them to as they battle health issues.  In fact we all end up with health challenges from time to time and God knows Art and Connie very well.

I'm sending love to all, one thing about learning about God is that He loves in a powerful manner that goes far beyond our selfish attempts at loving like He does.  God's love is so powerful and reaches into our very hearts.  There is so much we need to learn about loving like God loves.  I think we will study the subject for eternity.

Love

Back to work

Good evening,

Well another one for the record books.  Today was very nice weather wise and today I discovered that last month my PG&E bill was only $127 for electric and gas.  Lowest its been in years, very exciting but of course with the warmer weather and AC that will be the last low bill for many months.

I drove to Antioch this morning to shoot some comp photos for the appraisal I did last night near to darkness.  I had a Starbucks decaf with me which I nursed for a couple hours.

My friend woke me this morning early to let me know how well her day was going, it was a great way to wake up to hear someone so happy. Not that the rest of the day went well for her but at least she got to start the day happy and fulfilled.

I've been writing reports today and mid day I paused to check the mail.  Several hundred dollars were there and I quickly got it down to the bank as it was needed.  My friend always reminds me to thank God when check arrive so I'm doing that now, I do thank God for work, for checks and for life itself.

May I ask you to continue to pray for us as we move through this week.  We need God's direction for our lives as we want very much to do His will.

Sending love to all this evening,

Tim

Busy Sunday

Things happened today.  I did not walk today as I was on a mission which turned out well.
Breakfast was a multi grain bagel and decaf and then I sat to work.  This evening I drove to Alameda to see a nice Victorian home and then back to Antioch to see an even nicer home that is a current sale.  I was so hungry that I stopped at Taco Bell for a burrito, tasted good and is the first one in a long time.

I continue to request your prayers that God will guide me and my friend as we work through multiple issues we face.  We want to do things God's way and at times its hard to know what God's ways are exactly.  So your prayers are appreciated and needed very much in the next 24 hours.

Sending love to all tonight,

Tim
