Dizzy, Sabbath School, Kiddos, Kaiser Solution, Ellen affirms

I started off this morning by stepping out of bed and into a very dizzy world.  It was not fun and even after the walk it still persisted.
I took the girls to Sabbath School in Tracy and that was fun, then some lunch and then back home I talked to Kaiser, visited Kaiser this afternoon and in the process got a Dr. appointment, she found my ears were impacted with wax in fact the right one was totally stopped up.  so this evening I have 10 drops of Debrox in each ear and cotton balls holding in the drops.

This evening I felt rough, had fever and decide to go to Old Spaghetti Factory in Stockton.  On the way Ellen reached me using Yahoo Messenger and we had our best time yet.  She said some things that were so moving and romantic that I'm going to find a way to print them up, just beautiful and a gradual escalation of our love for each other.  She is an incredible woman, that is all I'll say at this point.

Heading for bed now, sending love to all

At last its Friday night

I am so ready for bed tonight, its been a very long week with short nights and many appraisal reports out the door.

I am so thankful to my loving Father for his safety and guidance given this week.

Steve and Jessy came to my rescue and wrote up reports in a very professional manner.  What a boon that is to getting work out the door.

I've had great conversations with my friend Ellen today and enjoy my time there very much, we hope to be together soon and are praying that God will help His will to take place.

Right now I've just talked to Pam and my brother Jerry, family and friends are so special and helpful, its gets very lonesome being alone all the time and facing everything by ones self.  Soon perhaps we can move forward into a new relationship that will bring happiness and meaning to life.

I pray that you will have a great Sabbath and weekend.  God is good all the time.

Love

Lots of work completed

If work is the way a man finds his sense of accomplishment then I should feel OK tonight.  Rose at 6 this morning, walked my 3, started working in the office, waded through a pile of conditions for several files, did research and then left at 2 for Rio Vista.  Did a nice little home in the 55 and over community there, then drove to Suisun City where I did two earthquake inspections to confirm to the lender that the homes had not been damaged by the quake.  They had not been hurt.

Then I was very early for an appointment in Vallejo so I went to Olive Garden for pasta and salad, great meal and I walked out for $14.00.  Then I went to the Vallejo home and it was very nice, once finished Ellen called me using Yahoo Messenger and we talked all the way home, about an hour and it was great just catching up with her and  renewing our feelings for each other.

Now I'm in the office taking care of some work and then its bed time very soon.  Thank you Lord for a safe day and a day in which you are in charge.

Please guide us step by step in our lives,

Love

A very long but fruitful day

I started this morning at 6, wrote up an appraisal that was needed, was overdue, then did research for the day, a day that had me traveling to Mountain View first, then to Fremont, then to Antioch where amazingly I had two little houses to see that were about 1 block apart for different lenders.  They went reasonably quick and then it was on to Brentwood to see one and finish the field work part of the day.  Got home about 6:45 and have been working in the office since that time with a quick break to take money to be deposited and do Safeway shopping.  My quick stop of a few things turned into a very full little basket and many things.

Today was a day when I had hoped that Ellen would arrive in SF.  But alas one shipping document was needed and so it will be yet another day.  My prayer is that God will bring her at just the right time, she is praying the same and she tends to have a very powerful prayer life.

Life is good in spite of setbacks and disappointments.  God is so good to us, He gave me a safe day today in spite of the 204 miles I put on the Civic.

Sending love to all and we need your prayers please.

A big sunday

Dear Ones,

My motorhome renters came on time today, paid their fees and we learned how to drive a motorhome.  The young guy, 30, did a great job of learning and they left about noon for lake Tahoe, I've heard nothing so I guess they are good.

I've been writing up reports, setting up new files and having some good meals today, for lunch I made peas and pinto beans, griller and some cottage cheese.  for dinner I had a can of wonderful soup and some more cottage cheese.  Great food.

My friend is doing well and we've had a very pleasant day of conversation, it looks like her time of arrival is nearing, could be any day now I think.

Please pray that God will guide us each step of the way,

Love to all

Tim

Evening time

Do you have a tough time going to bed?  I sure do, I usually have the best intentions but here it is midnight and am I in bed.  No, in fact I've just written a nice email to Ellen who is about to board a plane for SFO in the next couple days.  Her life is not easy but God is opening doors and we are both very happy.

What a nice day it was today, not too hot and beautiful by the lake here.  I enjoyed hearing from family and friends as I always do and ventured out to Stockton and did some tweaking of the motorhome as it is being rented in the morning for a week at Burning Man.  Its a very intense experience in the desert with 55,000 people all having a great time, some are even sober!!

The motorhome is pretty ready to travel and the renter is coming at about 10:30 in the morning.  We will take time to go over how it works, then we will go driving so he gets a feel of it, once I feel he is ready I'll send him on his way and I'll go back to work in the office placing the coach and the renters in God's hands for the next week.

Sending love to all tonight,

Busy day, God is still in control

Good evening,

Another crazy day with lots of work challenges and God's blessings  as well.  The weather is pleasant and life is pretty good.

I'm struggling with my eye sight lately,  my eyes don't tear like they once did and so end up dry.  yesterday was hard with so many hundreds of miles in the bright sunshine, today was tough to see and work.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day on many levels.

Sending love to all, can I ask for your prayers that God will lead us in a very special way tomorrow and do what mere humans cannot do, open doors and give help to us in a special way.

Great day

Good evening family and friends

This has been an excellent day.  I zipped over to Richmond this morning to inspect a little home, stepped out of the car in my shorts and about froze, foggy and cold with some wind was what met me, wow, shock.

The next property was in sunny Walnut Creek and the shorts felt just fine.  A nice home with a nice family, as I walked by the pool the pool sweep came up out of the water and shot me in the face with a stream of water, I was shocked and then amused.

After a quick Taco Bell lunch I drove home and found a couple checks waiting, that was great  as the account needed the money.

It just might be that my special significant other could be flying to SFO tomorrow.  I'm going to be there picking up the motorhome.  The French family that have been living in it for the last couple weeks are flying home tomorrow and have arranged for it to be left at a hotel there where I'll collect it.  Hopefully Ellen will arrive at about the same time and we can ride home in the motorhome together.  If so it will be an answer to a lot of prayer on the part of both of us.  Its amazing how long a trip can take from Ghana to California but God has been at work and we both hope tomorrow is the magic day.  Please pray that God's will be done in our lives.

I'm now heading to bed, I'm tired and sleepy but very satisfied this evening and I feel God's blessing on me.  Ellen always prays that I'll be safe when I'm out on the freeways and I've changed my driving somewhat to be safer for her.  Once she arrives here we will start driving lessons as she does not know how to drive yet.  That should be fun to teach her the basics of driving,  Hope she considers it fun!  I know I will.

Until tomorrow, sending my love to all,

Tim

Back to work

So its Sunday night and time to head to bed.

Been working all day chasing the ideal, catch up the office, get orders scheduled and get ready for the week ideal.

Well I still have work to complete but some work is completed now.

God is good and on many levels life feels very solid and good.

Been nice to talk to friends and family today, always a joy and I've made some pretty good food, had an ear of corn that was so good, made a tortilla with cheese tonight that turned out perfect, had oatmeal and nice cups of iced decaf as the day went by.

Sending love to all and I have plenty of love to share tonight.

Challenging but rewarding week

Dear Family and Friends,

Sending love to all tonight, what an interesting week with lots of work, lots of personal challenges and a safe week of travel and work.

This week Jessy and Steve helped me out with write-ups and they really helped a lot in the process.  Several reports were delivered to clients that would still be sitting waiting to be written without their help.

During the week my computer grew very slow so Jim, the worlds best IT guy dialed it up and fixed it by remote.  Now its great again! I've been all over this week and managed to see many properties all around the greater bay area including Napa, Suisun City, Fremont, Tracy, Stockton, Lodi, San Jose, Pleasanton, Livermore, Mountain House.

Here's hoping that your weekend has times for pleasure in it and that you can enjoy family and friends alike.

Sending love to all

Still need your prayers

Good evening

Life is very interesting, this morning Steve and I fought with the software to allow a signature to be added to a report, we finally got it but what a hassle.  Steve has been helping a lot along with Jessy in preparing reports to ship out.  Gradually I am getting caught up for which I am very thankful to God who is the giver of all good gifts.

On a personal level things continue to be iffy and God really needs to guide us each day.

Got to have Kallie this afternoon, she plays in a creative way and gives Pooka the dog lots of attention,

Well heading to bed now, very tired, had to drive back to San Jose tonight to pick up my credit card that I left at Spaghetti Factory last night.  Jason went and picked it up this morning and I picked it up from the family tonight, great to see them, so great!  Tomorrow Jo starts teaching 3rd grade!  God bless you Jo.

Sending love to all,

Tim

Big work day

A crew really helps.  Steve helped with two write-ups today and one is already out the door, just in time and saved the day, the other one will be first thing in the morning.  then Jessy drove over after work tonight and wrote up two while I was out seeing a property locally and then one in San Jose.  In fact I just got back from San Jose.  While I was there I had dinner at the Spaghetti Factory and then made my way home.  Not sleepy but very tired.

During the day I've had a wonderful time personally with friends, I've been able to fix appraisals and write new ones.  This afternoon Kallie came to visit and is is always a pleasure when she gets so come visit.  She is such a bright girl and does such nice things, like this afternoon she brought me a photocopy of her foot.  I'll remember that!

So life continues and on the personal level its good too.

So sending love to all

Big day

Tonight is very hard, Ellen and I are at odds and I fear these odds might break us apart.

Please join me in praying for the very sweetest lady I've met in years.

Tonight another sweet girl came, Jessy came and worked in the office, then we had dinner and then she worked again afterwards.  What a huge help.

Today was write reports and make equipment work right, some of both happened.

Now to bed,

Please pray that she will give me the chance I need for our future,

Birthday

Dear Family and Friends,

So now I'm 66 and on Social Security, great news!

Rough day but nice calls from friends and my dear Ellen.  We continue to need your prayers as we face some serious challenges ahead.  Pray is the only solution to a big problem that looms just ahead.

This evening Nikki and Steve had me over for dinner and it was a great meal, I mean everything was just perfect and another nice thing was Jason and Jo and family got back to the US from Mexico today and I feel safer for it.

I'm writing reports so I can't linger here.

More later but please pray for God's action to help us.

Love to all

Thanks to the many who wished me a happy birthday on Facebook.

Every day offers new challenges

Good evening,

What a beautiful day and I enjoyed seeing the Saint Helena and Pope Valley areas today, have not been there in a very long time, its was nice to remember those college years so long ago and Nan driving me down to the Pope Valley floor every morning so I could drive the school bus to Saint Helena with high school children, then hitch hike back up to classes for the day, then hitch hike back down to the bus in the afternoon and drive it back home, Nan would drive out to pick me up after the route.  she never complained and it was the way we survived, it was very good times at PUC.

My world is sort of crashing down around me this evening, just gradually but I'm getting a feeling that my future is about to change pretty dramatically in a bad way, a way that I had long fought to hold off.  But God is in His heaven and knows what is best and I'll just trust him to be there for me and Ellen as we figure out our future.

Please pray for us both, that God's will, His real will be done.

Love to all

Its finally Friday, a challenging week

Hi
Rough last two days, Ellen got as far as customs today, flew through them fine for herself but her luggage of gold from her father stalled and the airlines and the customs want an additional large sum of money to satisfy the government.  Of course none of us had any money so she is back in her hotel again tonight, we were so ready for her to fly here, I had flowers ready, she was dressed in her traveling blue pants suit but it was not to be.  so we are both back on our knees this evening seeking God's answers.

Please pray that God will guide and help us, He has helped so many dozens of times in the past and we know His leading, now we need Him once again for this final leap to each other.  Please pray that God will remember Ellen who is all alone in Chicago with no friends and no family.  I may end up flying back and then we drive out together in a rental car, we can do in 3 or 4 days, I've driving the trip many times before and if customs says that is a good way to deal with the issues then we will consider it.

Thank you for your prayers and kindness.

Today was very tough, I have many clients angry over not getting their appraisals fast enough but I'm so buried with work, I probably have at least 3 times the normal orders right now and I'm working night and day and not keeping up.  Not sure how long my health can hold under the stress and strain.

Oh how I need the Lord's help in all things.

Sending love to all,

Tim

One Rough Day

I'm so glad this day is about over for me.  I'm heading to bed after a series of negative events that are rough to cope with.

I'm buried with new appraisal orders right now so much so that I can't begin to keep up and that makes new enemies as everyone wants their report yesterday.

My friend, Ellen, did not make it here today, very close but not quite.  We hope for much better luck in the morning and are just praying that God will help where human being can't seem to get it done.

So I'm heading to bed, and this is a day I will just try to forget.

Live is good, I'm thankful for safety on the roads, for food to eat, for a home to enjoy and for friends that surround me with love and support.

Love to all tonight,

Please pray that God will guide each of us step by step.

Love

Short night excellent day

Who could have guessed that at our ages we would be working and producing like we do.  Last night I went to bed at 2:35 or so after finishing two reports. Yes I've been a bit sleepy today but its been a terrific day too.  How thankful I am for a God who cares about us and is always busy leading and arranging good things for us, oh that we could Love and care like God does, He does it perfectly and with an all knowing eye while we love with a lot less integrity and transparency.  Yet we love to the best of our ability and it is good.

My friend Ellen and I continue to move forward on our path, a path that it seems God has helped with over and over.  How thankful I am that I can go to Him and just throw it all open and seek His guidance.

This morning I took a short walk and then worked in the office setting up orders and making appointments, then I started working on a report and it went so fast.  When I was completed with it I then turned to the day ahead and left for Berkeley to see a very cute little home, then back through terrible traffic to Danville to see a little home selling for nearly a million dollars, its is 1,545 sf, amazing and its a tract home by the Toll Brothers, good builders in general.  Then it was use back roads to reach Brentwood for yet another appraisal and finally Kaiser for meds. Now I'm home and so thankful for another safe day.  Ellen always signs off on messenger by saying that she is praying that I will be safe on the roads and have a blessed day, that feels very good to me to have someone care like that.

Tomorrow promises to be yet another busy day, I'm so thankful for good health, for safe cars and for a comfortable home, great kids and kiddos and wonderful friends all over the place.

Love to all,

Tim

Early blog

I'm writing this at 2 am. So it will be short.

I determined that I would finish two reports this evening and after messing around I finally settled in to work at 9 pm.  Now they are both completed and to the lenders so for once I kept my word.  They got their reports.

Very rough day today, I ended up hurting some feelings because I failed to be kind and I'm very sorry for my failures.

Am very busy and have lots of new orders, I'm thankful for that.

Sending love to family and friends alike,  you mean everything to me.

Long work day, success comes

Good evening,

This may be the last of this kind of blog entry, we will see very soon.  Today was a hard day, lots of people to try to serve well and not getting to all of them for sure.

God is so good and has been leading in amazing ways recently for me and for my friend as well.

Every night when I pull into the garage I just thank the Lord for a safe day, I'm on some of the busiest freeways in the world on some days and God keeps His loving hands over me day after day and I praise Him for that.

My friend has reminded me and taught me to keep God so much closer than I've done before.  When good things happen she reminds me to give God the praise, I needed that gentle reminder of just how good God is to all of us.

Sending my best to all,

Tim

Over 72,000 page views as of tonight

Thank you for your many visits and views of the blog

As of tonight over 72,000 views have taken place, wow!  God has been so good to all of us over the last few years.  And we have all traveled through many different life events, had many relationships and felt God love and care for us.

I've never been closer to God than right now.  I feel like I'm on the front lines of communication with God and I talk to Him each night and morning and often in between in an honest way that I've never experienced before.

I've felt God's leading in some pretty dramatic ways and then often been left in the dark to ponder things as well.

This morning I rose early to drive the motorhome over to Sunnyvale to meet the couple from France who had arrived yesterday and are taking the motorhome until August 19.  I had the Civic on the tow dolly and was just 2 miles down the road when I stopped to check how everything was riding only to discover one of the tires on the tow dolly was nearly flat.  It was early in the morning, what was I to do?  I called Lois, next door neighbor and she agreed to drive the Civic behind the motorhome and then go to her other home in San Jose and ride back later with Ray, her husband.  So in a few minutes I had left the tow dolly behind and we were driving to Sunnyvale.

Once we arrived we found the most delightful couple with two little children, they quickly learned all of the systems in the motorhome and how to drive it and were on their way.  Then I drove back stopping at Starbucks for a decaf over ice.  I was so thankful that God had allowed such nice renters, we have been working this out for months and today worked out perfectly for all of us.  What a great friend Lois was to drive the Civic for me.

This evening I invited Ray and Lois over and we did fresh corn, made Lois soup and had some whole wheat English Muffins.  It was a perfect night on the back deck with the sun setting and cool breezes.  Was a very nice time.

Ellen and I have been able to chat on three different times today, we talked the entire trip this morning from Discovery Bay to Sunnyvale using yahoo messenger and that helped the trip go by quickly.  We hope that God will help us work out the last steps of her journey so she can arrive in SFO soon and we can begin our life together,  We are both praying for God's help and leading and trust Him to guide us to our future if its His will.

Right now its time to head to bed.  Sending love to all and seeking your prayers that God will continue to lead in His loving and powerful all knowing ways.

Great day

Very busy day today

So thankful for health and lots of work.  Met a wonderful homeowner today in Hayward and that was fun along with a perfect home too.

This evening saw a little marina and home in Bethel Island and had dinner at LaVilla for $6, was great eating.

It has been warm here but cooler at night, a blessing.

Love to all
