A great family day, Keanna has a great performance.

Good evening family and friends,

Tears filled my eyes as Keanna's part in the Nutcracker began.  She was first on the stage and had a beautiful angel costume which lit up and was gold and perfect.  She was on stage for quite a while as first she and the other angels did their dance, then other dancers joined and eventually there were even more dancers on stage dancing with the angels.  Her movements were flawless, at least they looked perfect through my tears.  A thought passed through my mind, oh how proud Nan would have been of Keanna as she performed on stage before a packed house.

Making the evening more special was the fact that we were all there.  Of course Nikki had been there at the theater all day, the first performance was at noon and then we arrived at 3 so Kallie could see the dancers who were located a different points around the entire theater.  Steve was with Kallie and me and Jason and Jo had arrived with Mia and Timothy.  Since we purchased our tickets at different times we had a section of 3 seats where I sat with Jason and Jo and then Nikki's seats were lower and closer to the stage so Mia, Kallie and Timothy sat with Steve and Nikki.  It all worked out great.

Afterwards we traveled over to UNO's and had a great meal sitting at a long table.  Seems everyone enjoys the food there and the talk was great.  It warms our hearts as parents when we get to see our whole family at one table.

The day started with my picking Kallie up, she was ready to go and full of life.  Then we drove to Sabbath School and Kallie ended up performing under Kim's direction for first church.  There were 11 children and everyone is a real cutie.

Kallie and I caught lunch at Burger King, thanks Yvonne for telling me so long ago about their vegeburger.  Its great.

What a day of joy, Keanna was very pleased with her performance and loved being a part of such a great production.  It is a very complicated show with great costumes, inspired dancing, beautiful music and its held in a very nice old but restored theater in the downtown Antioch district near the river.

So I go to bed very happy tonight,  family is so very precious.

Love to all,

Tim
