We are just back from an eventful day. I left this morning after washing the bug to drive to the airport where I met Marilyn. We then drove to San Jose where I found a shade tree to park under, Marilyn read her kindle and I did the appraisal work. Then we drove on to Monterey Bay Academy where we were in time to witness a dedication service for Mia. It was a very simple and wonderful event to witness and Pastor Brian did a good job. Mia was happy and contented and as Timothy and the rest of us looked on Mia was dedicated to Jesus.
Afterwards we gathered at their home to enjoy a delicious supper with all kinds of goodies to enjoy. Jo's mom Julie was here to visit and it was good to catch up with her as well. Timothy enjoyed his birthday cars and game and Mia enjoyed her new toy to play with when she crawls.
We left to drive home around 8 and arrived home without mishap about 10. We found the house hot and since I've not installed the little wall AC in Marilyn's room yet we have a fan bringing in cool air at the moment.
In the morning we'll meet Nikki and the girls and drive back to Jason and Jo's for the day with time at the beach and the cousins can play and enjoy.
Having family and friends around is so enjoyable, of course no money in the mail today but that is agiven, they don't deliver money here any more!!
