Learning at 64

Good evening,
Home after a very long day of sitting.  Steve and I drove to Oakland this morning to attend a seminar for our profession.  It was a refresher course with updates for how we write our reports, Dawn is an excellent presenter and never fails to give us something new to chew on.  Its a very dynamic time right now for appraisers, this year will see many changes in how we do our work, the same for lenders who want to sell their loans to Freddie or Fannie Mae, things a very tight with rules upon rules that need to be obeyed or else.  There were about 35 people in the room, appraisers of all ages, and we all learned things.

The meeting was held at the City Center in Oakland at the Sylvan Learning building.  There were lots of drinks, bagels and water and that helped the day pass a little quicker.

Once we were released at 5 we headed out into traffic that pretty intense and it took awhile to get home, home felt so good after a day away.  Jessie had been here working on reports which helped take the sting out of a lost day.

Tomorrow morning I'm to pick up Kallie at 9 and we are heading to Sabbath School where we will see other little ones hopefully.

So this week has drawn to a close, the Sabbath is here and that means rest of all kinds to be enjoyed and savored.

Sending love to all,

Tim
