Report from Lodi Memorial

Good evening,
Its 10:40 and I'm just back from being with Bob as he waited in the waiting room.  Pam Whitted came to sit with us and together we helped the time pass.  The 1 hour surgery turned into more like 3 hours but when I left we had just been allowed into the recovery room and Carol was talking and had come through the process very well.  The surgeon said it was a tough break and took a while to get fixed correctly but he anticipates that in a month she will be well along on her way to recovery.  I a few days she will move across the street to a recovery facility where she knows many of the people.  She was a home health nurse for many many years in the Lodi area and even her recovery nurse used to work with her in the past.  Bob is holding up well and was headed home to pick up a few things that Carol needed and then was coming back to sleep in the room in a special chair that becomes a narrow bed.  He knows about keeping an eye on the entire program, no one knows Carol better than he or cares more.

Bob wanted to make sure you knew how much he appreciated your prayers for Carol this afternoon and evening.  She has a long ways to go before being mobile again but knowing Carol it will be sooner than anyone expects.

Love

tim

    Good Morning Tim,

Thank You & Pam so much for the support last evening. Carrol is resting and I got home at 3:00 AM after I was satisfied that she was doing well.
We appreciate all the Prayers and are putting Our Trust in the Lord to see Us through this another Trying Time.

    Much Love
    Bob & Carrol.
