John and Karen Cress in town

Dear Family and Friends,
Several friends of John and Karen Cress met tonight at the Golden Corral in Tracy, George and Yvonne Miller hosted the get to gether.  The food was great, always too much, and the fellowship was even better.  John continues to battle bladder cancer and is winning at this point with some really challenges along the way.  Karen continues to work with the conference prodding churches to do a better job caring for members and friends  alike.  They are bright, driven people with a common love for a little grand baby that happens to live under their roof.  They are smitten just like the rest of us with little ones to love and care for.

And speaking of caring for, Keanna is coming to visit tomorrow.  I think I've recovered enough to host her for the afternoon.  It will be great to see her in action again.  In the morning I have an appointment for the motorhome at Road Runner RV.  They have worked on it before.  Ray and I have confirmed that the rear part of the slide has sagged about 1/2 an inch which is enough to open a gap between the seal and the top of the slide allowing water to run in freely instead of run off.  Not a good thing at all.

Steve and I are seeing a house together at 11 and then I pick up Keanna at 12:45. 

Now its time to head to bed.  So I'm sending love to all,  yes the coughing is worse today than yesterday, not sure why.
