Gerry Lammerding in the hospital

Dear Family and Friends,
We are just back from an afternoon drive to Roseville to visit our dear friend Gerry Lammerding.  Barb called this afternoon to tell me that Gerry woke and could not breath very well.  He asked her to call 911 which she did.  The results were that he was transported to the Kaiser ER and then admitted to the hospital.  Since that time they have been pulling a lot of fluid off his lungs where it had collected.  He has been informed that he suffers from Congenital Heart Failure.

When we walked in he was in great spirits, had just finished a good meal and had good skin color again.  We were able to stay with him for about 45 minutes and then left to dine at the Old Spaghetti Factory which is located nearby.  I'm sure that Barb and Gerry would appreciate your prayers this evening.

This morning I had the high honor of escorting Kallie to Sabbath School.  Emily was in charge and did a great job of leading out with the three little girls in attendance.  Later two more little girls came in, in time for treats.  After we were through with SS we caught lunch at McDonalds and drove to Oakley to see Keanna play very hard in a soccer game.  The little tykes are amazing as they race around trying to move the ball.

This afternoon I caught a few winks.  My day had started with the renter of the motorhome texting me that they had spent the night without any lights or electrical power but they were not complaining.  As I texted it came to me that perhaps when the guy towed the coach he had pushed the kill switch which disconnects the coach batteries.  Sure enough that was it and the last I heard from the renters they were in good spirits looking forward to the day and seeing more of the park.  I just hope the repairs the local repairman did this morning really will help keep the coach going.  I've placed their safety and vacation in the Lord's hands.

Well I'm very tired and worn out.

Sending love to all

Tim
