Marilyn hits the skies

Dear Family and Friends,

Marilyn announced today that she has a flight out of Oakland at 6:50 in the morning so we are leaving the house at 4:30 in the morning, needless to say I'm going to bed now!

This morning was one of those nice moments when I get to see a home that is so nice, so well thought out and in such great condition it is just a pleasure.  The home is located on the top of a hill in Hayward and has a view that is 180 degrees, there is the salt water pebbletec pool and grounds on three levels that abound in little flowers, plants and shrubs with gravel walking trails and stone retaining walls.  The interior of the home is opulent with granite floors, high wood lined ceilings, the latest in kitchen appliances.  The home is really something and finding adequate comps is proving to be a challenge.  I think I have enough to make a strong case for a value now.

The other appointment was one that has been on hold for weeks, suddenly it came off hold today and I ended up going there.  A very nice asian lady whose parents live with she and her family. The parents were out doing yard work and have many living things, all yielding crops.  It was a very friendly home and amazingly has a value of near to $900,000 even thought it looks rather average and ordinary.  In Tracy $250,000, in Stockton $175,000.  Location really makes the big difference.  Something to consider when you are buying your next home.

Well I'm sleepy and 4 am comes very early.

Love to all

In the last two days checks have come in, one was direct deposited into the account this morning and another came in the mail so the crisis has passed for now.

Tim
