What a great day! Any time one can catch a free ride, be in the middle of dozens of small children racing around, observe Mia as she smiled, crawled, played and enjoyed her day, well its a great day.
Jo and Jason had prepared for this day very well. Streamers were over the living room and dining room, festive cupcakes, tasty cake balls with frosting, good drink, pretzels, apple slices, wow they had it covered.
Many children brought their parents and part of the time the games were outside with Jason leading out and part of the fun was inside. Will Timothy's room ever be the same? Doubtful! Every child went home with goody bags and will happy memories of this special day.
Nikki drove the van which of course has room for everyone, I rode in the back with Keanna and she played with the Iphone and watched a DVD while I used the laptop to write an appraisal which has just gone out to the lender. Nikki's van has a plug in for 115 volts so the laptop just plugged in and went to work. Kallie was a great kid, no complaining, just did her own thing with toys and books while we drove. Marilyn and Nikki solved all of the worlds problems up front.
Mia got lots of nice toys to enjoy and some beautiful clothes, she liked her puzzles, her action toys that make noise and helped with the unwrapping. I've included the latest photo where I'm surrounded by the worlds best kiddos! Well It think so.
Now a new week looms but today was certainly a wonderful break and in keeping with that saying, change is vacation, well today was a splendid vacation! We all need em and I've been missing them lately. Thank you Lord for such a precious family to enjoy. For such dedicated parents and for your Blessing on us all.
