Kallie comes to visit, fun!

Well a lot happened today, all good.  Keanna came to visit and we ended up in the motorhome where I was showing her the dinette.  She wanted to do her homework there so we did.  She loved the new bed and staked our her place for the future.
We drove to gymnastics where I snoozed and she worked hard.  Then we found McDonalds for a late snack and early dinner.  After that we drove to the music class at Noah's bagels and I left her there.  I drove home, washed the van, took it down for a fill up, loaded the spare from the motorhome into the back and prepared for my morning trip down to Gilroy to get a used tire to replace this worn out one.  Art has contacts and the tire is very reasonable in price.
Keanna was in a talkative mood and continues to demonstrate the benefits from being in a home where she is included in adult conversations about real life.  She has an amazing understanding of financial hard times, of the value of money, of the importance of caring and loving family, of doing well at school and being in the part of her classroom that excels in doing good, doing the extra helping things.
This morning after the walk and the shower I write an appraisal for a property in San Ramon.  It was a very challenging one as the subject property is a duet, meaning two homes are connected with a common wall, each is owned by different owners and for all intents and purposes they are just two homes that happen to be connected.  Yet the fact that they are connected means their value is slightly less than fully detached homes.  I could only locate two sales of duets in San Ramon for the 6 months prior to the inspection date.  One was over 2 miles away and the other sold for over 100K more than the subject's contract price.  So it was a challenge to say the least and its going to one of the most picky lenders.
Tonya came today, now Tonya is pretty good looking and is a very hard worker.  She knows how to clean, works steady and produces a really beautiful finished product.  My floors shine this evening, the stove is too clean to use, the sinks are brilliant.  Wow, what a blessing she is.  I told her it was nice to hear a woman clunking around doing stuff instead the silence that usually permeates the whole house.  She said she understood as she has just become single again after being married for 3 years.
I have just spent the last couple hours talking to a friend I met through E Harmony.  No matter what the outcome this is one great lady who is dedicated to her medical profession, her kids and her Lord.

Love to all,

tim

ps  The Sabbath afternoon day at the lake is not going to happen this week.  Joyce Western let me know that they have a big event planned for the park in Tracy where they give food and water to people who need it.  I don't want to get in the way of that event.  We will plan ahead for another weekend.
