Getting caught up

This business seems to go in cycles, tons of orders, can't keep up, finally start to get caught up, few new orders because you took so long to get the last ones done, then new orders start to trickle in, then a new flood arrives.

This evening my motorhome is parked three blocks away serving as a bedroom for guests who have come for a happy wedding weekend.  Arranged long ago I delivered it this afternoon and walked back after getting it set up.  Then just a minute ago a frantic phone call, they could not get the door open, been there before so I drove down and showed them how it works, problem solved.  They are set for the night. As easy way to pick up a couple extra bucks.  Patty had the curtains in order today, nice new little cloth rope hangers all in place but even nicer was her suggestion that she should make new ones, she can do it and has already talked to her supplier who has agreed to sell the materials at cost.  That will be nice as these curtains are 9 years old and are showing their age.

Tomorrow afternoon the girls are coming to visit as Nikki is extremely swamped with the "twins" sale, a huge sales event held at the Alameda County fairgrounds.  Nikki has been tagging for days to get her stuff ready to sell.  its really amazing how much stuff they sell at the sale, thousands of items from clothes for every child age to toys, games, beds, strollers, car seats, just amazing.  Nikki helps behind the scenes with the running of the sales so is very busy for the next couple days.  I'll help with the girls tomorrow afternoon and get to see them as well as relieve their parents.

So now its bed time once again.  Please keep praying that God will lead, perhaps I can explain later.

ps please pray for Jo who has pretty nasty blisters from a kitchen accident.  She is recovering but the blisters are huge and painful.
