Regulations and Laws

So today was education day.  Up at 6:30, in the car at 10, picked up Steve and we drove 2 hours to San Rafael.  Our instructed was Dawn, the same one we had teaching a class we recently took in Pleasanton.  Dawn has that rare gift of making very boring information relevant.  She told us straight that this will be one of the toughest years in appraising every as The Dodd Frank financial nightmare begins to be implemented across the country.  Every minute of our time together was interesting, helpful and will effect the way we run our businesses.  Our room was the basic meeting room in a nice hotel, a little too cold, bathrooms were scarce but the information was well worth the $65 we each paid to be there for the 4 hours of classwork toward out license renewal.

On our way home anticipating the traffic up Highway 80 we stopped at Outback and had dinner.  It was good and when he finally hit the roads the traffic was light.  Felt good to be able to use the car pool lanes for a change, neither of us every get to use them since we are always working alone.

On the way home I stopped at Safeway for Stripples and $85 later I walked to the car with a few sacks of groceries.

Now its bedtime and in the morning I get to take my two angels to Sabbath School, that is excellent news.

So good night my family and friends, it was a great day with Steve.

Love

Tim
