Slow rainy sunday

But it got much better!  Nikki and the girls came late this afternoon and they went to work putting ornaments on the tree.  It looks great now, glitters and its boughs are heavy with angels, balls, bright lights and an angel that is way too heavy on the top.  When those girls are in the house it comes alive, they are full of life and love to play, tease, munch and be loud.  It is perfect, I love it.

I had a fire going so the whole place was warm, nikki popped some food on the stove so they could eat and a great time was had by all.  Of course Nikki was not pleased that there was evidence that a mouse or two had visited the box in the last year, bummer.

I've not ventured out very far today, its wet, cold and dreary so I've just stayed inside and ate and ate.  Well for dinner I made some new kind of pasta and used sause from the dollar store.  It tasted great and was so cheap.  Some peas cooked in their package in the microwave helped make the meal tasty.

Tomorrow after at 4 I visit a new doctor, a specialist in coughing.  Wouldn't it be nice to finally discover why i cough all the time.  I have my fingers crossed, that something will click and he can help solve this many year long problem.

Right now its time to head to bed.  A friend shared with me today that Bonnie Casey, Letcher who roomed with Nan at PUC now writes a blog and has written a book as well.  She is one bright lady and I caught her blog.  All I can say she certainly sees the world politically different than I do.  Her heros are people I fail to fully appreciate, it was an interesting experience but oh she writes so well.  She is a very bright lady and has suffered so much with a variety of medical problems that have caused intense pain for her over the years.

Good night my family and friends,

love to all

Tim
